Alex, like many people, gets a kick out of drawing but still can’t figure out what a swamp monster really looks like.

She studied photography and minored in illustration and book-binding at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, graduating with her BFA in 2015.

Alex is Creative Director at The Open Studios Press, home of the contemporary art periodical New American Paintings. She lead the brand’s re-design which launched in February 2023 for the publication’s 30th year in print.

Alex lives and works in Massachusetts. She loves morning coffee, riding her bike, and pulling pranks.
